Biography
Professor Kim has combined teaching and industry practice across the hotel, foodservice, wine and tourism fields. He began his career at the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel and SK (formerly Sunkyong Group), later leading an international convention and event company and a foodservice franchise, and taught hospitality and tourism at Woosong University and Yeungnam University College.
In the wine field he serves as Grand Commander for Korea of FICB, the world federation of wine brotherhoods, and has published numerous academic papers on the tasting and decanting of old wines. He has authored several books on hotel events and on wine.
